Women Going off to Factories
This picture is showing the mother of three young children leaving them behind in the care of her neighbor, or friend, so she can go to work for the war efforts. The mother will be gone for an undetermined amount of time, working long hours in the factories either making food, clothes, bombs, ammunition or other war items needed. This sign is trying to persuade other mothers to do the same and help their country and its soldiers.
Working for the Soliders
This picture is targeted towards the younger women who are in need of a job and are looking to support the soldiers. They are telling the women that they need to work in factories to make clothing for the men who are fighting for their freedom. This piece isn't making the women feel guilty or showing gruesome pictures of what is happening over seas. It is offering a way for the women to feel like they contributed to the war, like they are helping to end the war more quick.
War Bonds
This propaganda piece is appealing to people in a more polite way than in WWI. It makes people feel as if they would be joining others as it calls people to give money towards the war bonds. They are still getting the point across that they need money in order to end the war, but they are saying it in a way that isn't bringing the fact that there are people dying. This is targeted towards the people of Australia to give money.
